Made of durable and long-lasting nylon fabric and solid brass grommets, this flag lasts much longer than our Standard flag. You won't find nylon flags with higher tensile and tear strength. It has excellent strength retention under UV exposure, and high resistance to UV fading. The colors are deep, bright, and last over time due to the aniline dye process. They have better wash-fastness and light-fastness than nylons of similar fabric construction. One inch double edge fold around flag, with four rows of stitching on the fly edge. There reinforced stitching at the top and bottom of the fly edge of the flag.

The Corsica (France) Flag is the flag of a French state. It's flag is white with a man wearing a ribbon on his head. The flag of Corsica Features a Moor's head in the middle of a white field. Locally the flag is called (in Corsican) the bandiera testa mora, the Moor's Head Flag . This flag is the symbol for all Corsicans. It has been claimed that this is the flag of the Corsican separatists, but this is erroneous. While some Corsican's have pushed for independence, most of the quarter-million inhabitants simply feel strongly toward the preservation of their rich culture and history, including the Corsican language and flag. Flown frequently in Corsica, this flag is even occasionally flown in the honor position on the tallest flag pole - even above the French tricolor flag. The origin of this flag is unknown, however one popular legend is that it comes from the story of a Corsican who cut the head of an enemy Saracen chief. The chief had been identified in advance by his white headband. Once removed, the Corsican had a drawing made of the trophy head and transferred onto a white cloth. Another popular legend says that the head is actually that of a royal Lieutenant of the King of Aragon. Per the story a young Corsican's fiancee had been abducted by bandits and sold to the King. The Corsican freed his love and fled with her. The King sent a trusted Lieutenant after the couple. After a dramatic battle the young Corsican decapitated his pursuer and used it as a trophy all over the island.
