The Saint Vincent Flag was adopted on October 22nd, 1985. The three green diamonds are known as the Gems, which refers to the island's nickname, The Gems of the Antilles. The bright blue represents the skies and the sea. The yellow stands for the yellow sand. The green colors refers to the vegetation.
