Description
The New Jersey Flag was adopted on March 26, 1896. The three ploughs on the New Jersey Flag to the fact that New Jersey was the third state to join the Union. The figures of the goddess of agriculture, Ceres, and Liberty are holding up the arms. The horse head represents vigour.
