Made of durable and long-lasting nylon fabric and solid brass grommets, this flag lasts much longer than our Standard flag. You won't find nylon flags with higher tensile and tear strength. It has excellent strength retention under UV exposure, and high resistance to UV fading. The colors are deep, bright, and last over time due to the aniline dye process. They have better wash-fastness and light-fastness than nylons of similar fabric construction. One inch double edge fold around flag, with four rows of stitching on the fly edge. There reinforced stitching at the top and bottom of the fly edge of the flag.

March 6th is the last day of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. The Alamo fort was held by about 150 volunteers including Davy Crockett and James Bowie. For almost two weeks they were besieged by thousands of Mexicans who eventually overwhelmed the fort, sparing only 15 women, children, and servants. The fall of the Alamo inspired 800 volunteers led by General Sam Houston to attack the Mexican army of 1,500 at San Jacinto. The Mexican Army fell. Texas became a new republic separate from Mexico and the United States. Texas became a state of the USA ten years later.
