East German Stasi Flag 1960–1989 – Made in USA

Explore a distinctive design from Cold War history. This flag features a red field with the shield-shaped emblem of East Germany’s Ministry for State Security, commonly known as the Stasi. The emblem depicts a hand holding a rifle alongside an East German flag, framed by the German wording “Ministerium für Staatssicherheit.”

Dated to 1960–1989, this design represents the security service that conducted surveillance, intelligence gathering and political repression under East Germany’s ruling Socialist Unity Party.

Suitable for historical collections, educational exhibits and theatrical settings, this reproduction can help illustrate the institutions and symbolism of the divided Germany era. Offered as a historical reproduction, not an original period artifact.
