Description
The Syria Flag was adopted on March 30, 1980. In 1972, Egypt, Syria, and Libya formed a federation. They decided to use a common flag. In 1977, Libya withdrew from the federation and in 1980, Syria withdrew as well. The authorities decided to change it after withdrawing.
