Description
The Tibet Flag was adopted in 1912. The white represents a mountain covered in snow. The lions stand for harmony. The lions are holding the wishing gem which is a Tibetan symbol of law. The golden border stands for Buddhism and the sun symbolizes freedom. The twelve rays represent the 12 descendants of the 6 tribes of Tibet.
