This is the Captain Scott's Flag. This flag dates back to the Mexican-American War. Captain Scott was one of the men who recruited Texicans to fight the Mexicans.

Texas Independence flag. Lorenzo de Zavala Flag is similar or Bonnie blue with the word Independence on it.
